- It's 1 cup of converted rice (I use uncle ben's brand and mix half regular & half brown).
- You need 2 cup of water.
- It's 1/2 tbsp of chicken broth concentrate (bovril type).
- You need 1/2 tbsp of olive oil, extra virgin.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of dry thyme.
- It's 1/2 tsp of dry savory.
- It's 1/2 tsp of dry chervil.
- It's 2 of dry bay leafs.
Easy No Fuss Pilaf Rice step by step
- Bring water to boil with chicken broth concentrate and olive oil.
- Add rice and dry herbs when liquid is boiling.
- Reduce heat to medium heat and cook uncover for about 10 minutes or till liquid is almost all absorbed, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat again to low and continue cooking for another 10 minutes or so, stirring frequently.
- When all liquid is absorb, cover and remove from heat..
- Let stand for 5 minutes before stirring and serving.
