- "Place a pot on the gas cooker. Put oil in to the pot, let the oil heat up. Add bay leaves, cardamom, fenugreek seeds and cinnamon stick. Cook them for 1 min till the dry spices start to release their aroma."
- "Add onions, cook them until golden brown. Add ginger and garlic paste. Cook it for another min. Add dry chillies, turmeric,coriander powder and salt. Cook the spices for 2 mins on low heat. Add little bit of water in to the Kashmiri red powder and add in to the masala."
